  • According to the American Psychological Association, group therapy can be a powerful tool for mental health treatment for a variety of different mental health needs both as a stand-alone form of treatment as well as in addition to individual therapy services. Group therapy can be a way to increase health connections, learn new skills, and reduce costs associated with mental health services.

+ How do I sign up for group therapy?

  • Our current group therapy offerings are listed in the sidebar of this page. Specific group therapy information, facilitator contact information, and sign-up instructions for each individual group can be found there. And we always welcome inquiries through any of the forms of contact listed on our contact us page. We do our very best to keep these pages current with group therapy options, but if doubt about availability or current group therapy schedules, please contact us with your specific questions.

+ Is group therapy really private?

  • Great question. One of the biggest fears or hesitations expressed by potential group therapy participants is the fear of the other group therapy members. As a part of maintaining the highest levels of ethical care in all of the forms of therapy we provide, all of our groups are facilitated with strict rules related to group member conduct, confidentiality, and interaction between group members. All group participants are required to consent to participation and agreement to the rule set in place for the safety and confidentiality of the group members. If you have specific questions, reach out to the group facilitator for a copy of the group rules and guidelines!

+ How do I know if group therapy is a good fit for me?

  • All groups are set up to facilitate connection and productive therapeutic work. We separate groups by age, skill interest, and more. See our current group offerings for more information.
