My background
I am an EMDRIA certified Therapist, Approved Consultant.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from Baylor University.
I started my counseling career working with victims of crime and abuse through a rape crisis center and child advocacy center, and then specialized in working with clients experiencing complex trauma.
I am trained in using EMDR and TF-CBT as trauma treatment interventions.
My view on counseling
I am passionate about helping clients find the strength within their own stories to overcome challenges in various stages of life.
I am a firm believer that different stages of life require different levels of support and encouragement, and I am ready to walk along side you in whatever stage you may find yourself.
I believe that the best therapeutic work is done in the context of a supporting genuine relationship and strive to empower individuals to overcome the challenges they are facing through support and education.
